its bout dis hot asian who fell wit Cain who is known 2 every1 as Alec and she waz a teenager who he screwed them left for bt then 10 years later she had 2 b marked as a punishment 4 being Alec's tempation or forbidden fruit so now she is marked and enslaved 2 kill all demons untl her debt is payed off bt then she meets Reed or Abel n he 2 falls 4 her n she is torn betweenn 2 men 1 who she loves bt the other who she desires so i think itz a great book hope u get 2 read it

i think so well it depends on wat u think is overly detailed romance cuz this book does hav love issues as all good books do bt yes dis book can hav sum scenes dat arent excalty lovey-dovey more of detailed porn bt other than dat its a great read

is marked series the same as the house of night series or a diffrent one??

It's different. The House of Night series is Young Adult (i.e. appropriate for younger readers). The Marked series is urban fantasy for adult readers. The House of Night's first book was titled "Marked", but they're completely separate/unrelated series.
