A fabulous "bootleg" masterpiece for all Rainbow lovers all around the globe.
I hope you'll like this one, it was a surprise for me as well.
It was recorded at Taiikukan Gymnasium in Tokyo 12.02.1976.

Cheers............

  • I was here

  • Mistake!

  • The combination of Blackmore and Dio is almost unfair...

  • GREAT any footage of Stargazer or A Light in the Black

  • @Silber7 yes, pulse is similar, nice one :)

  • 9th Dec1976 at Osaka Japan

  • @Silber7 Oh,back then in it's time,it was state of the art,no doubt. We'd never seen anything like it.It cost Ritchie a fortune and he almost went broke financing this band, hence his move to commercial music in the late 70's into the 80's.

  • The rainbow is a great idea and looks just fantastic. espessially for the time, I guess today with the existance of lasers etc, nobody would be very pleased by this as only show effect... but: compare e.g. "Pink Floyd - One of These Days (PULSE)" from 1994, one of the greatest lightshows ever... the main effect is quite similar^^
