Hall County Siren #22 - Federal SIgnal 2001:AC

Located at US-30 and Claude Rd in Grand Island. One of the yellow 2001s we have in Grand Island. The timing on this one must be off since the rotator stops during each cycle. If anyone can tell me the model (like SRN or SRNB), I would appreciate it. It was put up in 1991 and I don't know a whole lot about 2001s. AC is simply a DC without battery backup.

@JMAN123436 It's actually what it should be for this model of 2001. It's the SRNBs and 130s that are really high pitched and make this model sound too low.

@garyhstorms09 not programmed, the rotator has a special gearbox to do this. It would be impossible to program since the siren motor drives both the chopper and rotator...

@97Siren Grand Idland has never had Hurricanes. The only sirens in that video are Model 2T-120s and Thunderbolt 1000Ts. Actually, the 2T heard is the one at Lincoln Elementary and the 1000Ts are at 4th St and Congdon Ave, and Knickrehm Elementary.
