@FubraDrums Thanks so much for your reply! Three years sounds fair. I think I would've been disappointed if you said you picked it up in a few months like some people claim. And it isn't being an "old guy" to boast on the importance of frequent practice. Now that I'm getting a little "older" (in my 30's), I have to take some days off to let my muscles relax and I have to force myself to stretch more often. But man, trying to play along with Axe is an adrenaline rush, atleast for me.

Really nicely done man. How frequently do you practice to get your level of endurance? As a fellow drummer I find myself running out of steam half-way through Bloodbath tracks. Do you find your hands or arms getting really tight after practicing with that much speed?

@MrInsertcoolname It took about three years of serious blastbeats and metal drumming to get to where i could play this stuff comfortably. I also warm up alot too before any filming. I dont get the tightness in the wrists anymore unless its something really out of my league. But that tightness, that burning, is what you want. Play through it as best you can! One day you'll be a machine and it will all make sense. As much as i hate to sound like an old guy, you just need to practice every day
