  • Please don't call them handicapped, it's not politically correct to use that word anymore. They have disability, or impairment. For example, downs syndrome is a learning disability, deaf is hearing impaired, blind is visually impaired, I don't like the word handicapped, these people can and do exactly the same things as other people but they need to do things differently or with adaptions to help them, I have a physical impairment, my sister has a learning disability, we are both disabled but

  • @xpixilovesmakeupx Well the people I were referring to were physically handicapped, the little girl was in a wheel chair. I completely understand where you are coming from though. People are people, regardless of what challenges we face in our daily lifes. So if it came out rude in any way, I apologize.

  • My brother is mentally challenged and my father said if anyone made fun of him i can beat up that person.

  • I don't take offense to the word handicapped. I actually prefer it over disabled. My son is 10 in a wheelchair and very developmentally delayed. I don't see anything wrong with you using the word. I think people are a little too sensitive. Forget being politically correct. You're clearly coming from a good place.

  • good for you

  • @xpixilovesmakeupx I disagree.. My daughter is handicapped. This girl meant no harm by saying it.. My daughter has tumors, she's visually impaired, she can not walk, talk, or sit on her own.. She eats by tube, and only urinates without being cathed on occasion.. She has seizures ect ect.... I think the term special needs is fine, but kids with add are now said to have special needs.. When I am talking about my daughter I don't say she has special needs I said she is disabled or handicapped.

  • It's amazing that people make fun of others, as if people choose their disability, skin color, obesity, nationality, etc...

AND, as if every one of us doesn't have something that could be ridiculed by others.

  • Yanoo i agree you shouldn't make fun of anyone its awful it shows you have no heart and you will get no where in the future. My sister is my inspiration and she has cerebral palsy and its so hard yet anyone takes the mick i will give them a mouth full. Its wrong they are just normal people so treat them with respect!! <3

  • @IfYouMustxD Who cares what you think, I think I am beautiful :3 So ha, fucking ha.

  • @xoxokerystinexoxo I am myself, and i have my own right to own an opinion, and i am sharing it with a likely opportunity. Who are you to question that?

  • You, ma'am, are absolutely amazing.

  • I have mild CP. /:

I get made fun of a lot!
