Pure, playful, and utter fun! Really shows that Bergman was a man of many talents, even in all this smile-inviting color he still meditates on human nature-given, of course, credit to Mozart and Schikaneder.

It's Swedish.

What language is this? Certainly not the original German...

@thesir27 I've danced with her (Papagena) socially. A lovely lady in all respects! ;)
-
Let's not forget the translator - Alf Henriksson, who makes this a wonderful rendition of the german original lyrics by Schikaneder.

I love this Papageno (always have, or at least since I was five years old) – but it's really sad that he's carrying a noose around 24/7...

In 1975 I started to learn German. In 1977 I went to Germany for the first time. The same year I saw Bergman's 'Magic Flute' for the first time. I have never grown tired of this joyous masterpiece.
