Sister seeks Wayne Walker's killer- Mom died of broken heart

Wayne Leon Walker, age 52, was found brutally stabbed to death in his apartment in Washington, DC in November 2003. Police say Walker was killed sometime between November 21 and 24. Wayne's sister, his only sibling, tearfully describes a smiling, happy-go-lucky man, a brother she dearly misses. She can't imagine why anyone would have wanted to hurt him. Wayne's sister believes their mother died just six months after Wayne was murdered because she was so brokenhearted. Police hope that someone in the gay community, of which Wayne was a part, will come forward and help solve this cold case.

I hope you're just trying to get people going, because it makes me sick to think someone could be so close minded. A murder victim is to be mourned, regardless of their sexuality. He was a son and a brother and a nephew. I hope the police find his murderer so his sister can have peace. And I hope you fast forward out of the 1950s and realize everyone is equal and all lives should be treated as such.

Hello Wayne Walker has family A very loving family & a large host of friends I am his sister and he had a beautiful daughter that died 4 months ago. Our mother died 6 months after the son she loved so much was killed If this doesnt say how much he was loved just ask anyone that had the honor of meeting him
