With all due respct. Not all of Rap music is bad. I would say a lot of the commercial artists are not that great. I love RAP music and grew up in the 70's listening to it. Go underground and you'll hear the best best RAP that could would want to hear.

Having said that, taking shots at one genre doesn't build a good case as it relates to lifting up another form of music.

Enjoy them all for what they are.

Thought Rap had potential in the early 80's but it evolved into the
