Perodua Alza Car Battery Leakage

Anyone having this car or experience mechanics, i need your opinion if the Perodua service center saying something truthful here: See below what they commented on the battery leakage.

I Have sent the car to Perodua service center and the mechanic said the leakage is due battery water excess which is filled beyond the set level. Apparently the leak will go through the Battery cap. -

They also said the wet leakage on the battery connector head is normal, because the new battery are built this way to humidify heat around the connector head.

I am just afraid in case the battery leakage becoming worst and rust the engines area.

Why can't Perodua just use a battery that doesn't leak for any of the reasons above.

aku pakai battery kering top boleh tahan nak dekat 2 tahunlah gak. Hari2 pakai, tapi kalu ko nak selamat, tukarlah tiap2 tahun

my alza also kena..changed to dry cell. but too late already..the whole mounting (black color) got rusted. all paint peeled off. yang paling geram..body paint of the inner part (white color) also peeling off. They should do something about this. as our rust proof is up to 6 years. I asked that day. they didn't do anything but instead accused battery fluid overflow and blamed me as if i was the one who did that.Guys..any suggestion?temporarily i just applied some oil to prevent further rust

@jayloccoz The root of Perodua stupidity is why choose that battery model because after i inspected each of the battery cap there is hole in all the caps. It is manufactured that way don't know for what reason.

Kalo pakai battery kering berapa lama bleh tahan? Jangan nanti mati di tengah jalan sebab tak tahu bila nak abis.

@CheapAntivirus it's probably done so the pressure doesn't build up inside the battery - but having one or two holes should be sufficient for breathing purposes.

aku punyer alza pun terus pakai battery kering, aku beli kat service centre RM180..

sama la macam masalah kat alza aku...dah bawak p perodua service but next week same problem............tukar battery kering kot
