Home recording of firecrackers made on Fourth Of July, 1982, using a Panasonic RQ-3095 tape recorder and Tracs brand cassette tape made by Michigan Magnetics Inc. to capture the explosive sounds. For being an inexpensive mono recorder, using a budget brand cassette tape, it actually did a very good job capturing these loud explosion sounds.
Transferred to digital using stereo gear on background photo.

Hi Phillip, they are illegal here to, although they are slowly allowing some to be sold here. Back when I recorded this in 1982, we had to go to South Dakota, or Wisconsin to get them.
This was a brick of firecrackers, I don't know how many were in the brick style package(quite a number!!), thank you for checking it out, and Happy 4th to you as well!!...friends, Lloyd.
