Hey Hallytagb what club you train at, Newport is probably the most sucessful club in the whole of the TAGB we have won the British Shield 9 times. Mr Burley is one of the most respected instructors within the TAGB (the one in red) and has produced many World Champion fighters who have fought on all stages and many styles.

The other vid is in Davos Switzerland and is continuous,which as you know is alot faster and harder than point sparring as is in my video. If you consider it lame that is your opinion but hey we cant all be as perfect as you. Oh yes and the people you are saying are lame happen to be a 6th Dan and 2 2nd Dans. Hmmmm wonder who is really lame.

i agree they musy be lame, i know 1st and 2nd dans who are like 3 billion times better, belts dont mean any thing they just hold ur trousers up, in the tagb ive seen 4 and 5ths dans that are crap, and any one who watchs the vid will just see how lame it is,

It was the 2004 Welsh this is my instructor in the veterans division. The other clips are of my sons my eldest in 2005 Welsh Closed and my youngest in the British 2005.

What you must understand is that there are fast players whose kicks and strikes cannot even kill a rat. It is all about timing and power, it's only if you already have these that speed becomes relevant. The fighter in red looks very calculating, and it actually seems like he is controlling his blows to prevent his opponent from getting hurt. This man has been training for a long time.

alot of good TAGB fighters have moved over to ITF and WTF and done very well. I personally know one.

If the TAGB were such a poor standard why would they beat the best the UK ITF groups have to offer at the BTC's?? HUH Go Figure?

Where do the UK ITF fighters stand on the world ITF scene? Lets watch Canada or Viking Cup

do you go to competitions often? the more you go the more practice and the better you get at them. The first match was very slow, but you learn a lot from video taping all your matches.

what i finf wen sparring keep your fitness high and keep attacking your opponent so that they can't attack you. Also employing the uses of Jeet Kune Do is very useful in free sparring. As soon as you see or think they are about to attack them front leg side kick or attack quickly to neutralize their attack. Wich years welsh was the first section (if it is) ? wich year british / english was the 2nd section?
