  • Wow! Can't believe I found this song...memories of growing up in New Zealand...thank you.

  • This song was written by Neil Sedaka and banned in the US by the church. This version played for a short time in the US, but received a lot more airplay down under. If you look closely at the album cover - he is neither a left handed guitar player - nor did he play a ahamay guitar - the image was printed in reverse. There are some other good tunes on this CD.

  • Such a great voice deserved wider recognition. But I'm pretty sure Craig was not left handed as the CD cover would suggest...

  • Wow brings back great memories of my early teens. My sister was dating a friend of Craig's and I was lucky enough to meet him at Snoopy's night club.

  • Excellent version. Thanks for the post.

  • Great to here this I was more familiar with this than Neil Sedaka's original.

  • Woooo! I remember when Craig Scott was the guest artist that we played backing for at the Opunake Mardi Gras....great memories

  • Wow, finally I can hear Craig again. I was in a band in Christchurch and played the backing for him in Timaru! Awesome experience. Anyone have the "When Jo Jo Runs" track, would love to hear it again.

  • Loved seeing this man sing - used to be a regular at Olivers Night Club in Wellington - those were the days!

  • cool music us kiwis produce

  • quincy concerve did the instrumental backings on alot of the HMV music that came out at this time but was hardly ever credited

  • what happened to Craig Scott? I have seen Shane around here in Devonport NZ, but Craig appears to have disappeared...he was a real talent in NZ in the early 70's...
