Neo Geo does not have an 8bit sound processor it has the best sound procressor that you could put in a console in those days and it also has an 8bit processor to help it so that the main processor does not have to get boged down with sending sound code to the sound chip. The 8bit processor in the Neo Geo and the sound processor are two seperate processors.

X and 2 are not the same thing. That boss at the end is a plane, in regular 2.

Oh it did, the Neo Geo has an 8-Bit sound processor, but it can produce 24 channels of sound, which is 16 more than the SNES has (and that has a 16-Bit sound processor).

no metal slug x and 2 are diffrent metal slug 2 has a mutant level you dont get captured in the end and they only changed it to day to night also they put more optoins and more enmeis god i need a life! well im only 12

There are numerous Metal Slug compilations for home video game consoles. You can always just run a Neo Geo emulator.
