Okay, so here we are, the 5th generation of Pokemon! In this part, I get my starter Pokemon, learn how to battle twice, and take a small look at some of the stuff in the game

there's an article created by nintendo tht says tepig  is a little better than oshawott or snivy.....

@jumpboy454675 I'd say it depends on the use. For attacking, I'd say Tepig is the best.

okay, why does everybody pick snivy??? it's only good stats are speed, special def., and def., but that's it. It is only good against like one or two gyms, and is a horrible attacker.

@Bubbajjsammer5 Every Pokemon can be put to some use with its stats. In my opinion, it looks the coolest. I also don't like a whole lot of grass-types, and since I'd need a grass-type in this walkthrough, I went ahead and picked Snivy.

@Yoshiller2 nobody picks oshawott!!! Samurott is the most useful, only has two weaknesses, which it can protect itself from, and is great against manyy gyms. There is only one walkthrough/LP i have seen with oshawott.

@Bubbajjsammer5 Every Pokemon is both good and bad. And as a matter of fact, I believe Oshawott was the most favorited. Maybe Snivy is the favorite, but I'm not entirely sure. Furthermore, Oshawott is only good against the ground-type gym... so, again, every Pokemon is both good and bad. I dunno why you're complaining.

omg snivy sucks pick tepig and the prfoessor was explaing tht those two kids are your rivals and the present was explaing tht the box the pokemon were a gift to all 3 of i know because i learned how to speak japanese

the grass pokemon is cold snive and the frie pokemon is tepig and finnly is water thpe oshuwatt

I picked snivy because it looked the best

I picked Snivy because I didn't like Tepig and Oshawott was out of the question (Since Zekrom is an Electric Type, and I have a nasty habit of not picking a Pokemon weak to the Legionaries I wanna catch... I might pester someone for an Oshawott Egg after I beat Ghetsis).
