  • I got them as juveniles more than 2 years ago. They were silver-ish with only a tinge of red. Being at ease with my planted tank, they color-up after a couple of months. I fed them JBL NovoTabs and flakes, boiled green peas (peeled), frozen bloodworms. They also eat my plants if I don't feed them some greens. I now feed them exclusively with New Life Spectrum which they like very much. Yes they grow a bit slow.

  • Just got a few of these fish. Yours look amazing. What do you feed them? I find it hard to make my rainbows grow. Are they really slow growers?
