Why did you put the correct thunderstruck tabs up if you didn't play it right. You really should work out the kinks in those songs and get a better acoustic or just get an electric. Those strings are tough for for you it seems. I don't care if people bitch at me for saying this stuff. Just because he's a kid doesn't mean anything. I was at that level once and I needed to hear the truth. Learn some scales (Blues/Major/Minor) and that will speed you up. Good effort of course though. Your trying.
