This is an amazing demonstration of knife defense technique by the late, great Grandmaster Remy Presas Sr. Not only does this video show you how to execute a terrific knife defense, but it also shows the man's warmth, sense of humour and brilliance. Enjoy!

  • As a student of this particular style, I say without reservation that the comments questioning the validity of said style are by ignorant fools.

This stuff is, quite literally, lethal. Professor Presas was feared by his contemporaries, and with good cause.

Other masters knew he would defeat them without reservations, and they would be injured, and lose face.

  • Vídeo muito bacana!

OGRO COMBATE - RJ - BRASIL

  • MAgellan didn't know that Filipino's knows "KALI"

    the art of the blade

guns and cannons VS knife and sticks

  • this is just a tiny bit of demo...not the full training...so don't judge the effectiveness...as FMA is already proven in combat

  • @ClinchFighter911 This is a modernized version of Arnis, which is a martial art that is way older than Krav Maga right? It is Krav Maga that got inspired by asian martial arts especially filipino and malaysians. Also theres no such thing as watered down. Instructors choose the cursus they want to teach people. I can find you places where Krav Maga is taught beyond just a civillian self defense program point of view. Krav Maga isnt bad but its vastly overrated due to ignorance about the subject.

  • Someday, another system of fighting will arise, wherein all the techniques are based from having a full contact sparring and not from "what if?" and "what if not" mind set..

  • Another "Concepts and Demonstrations" zone again.. No full contact sparring to further prove the effectiveness of the techniques shown. It's like watching movies, wherein you know that it couldn't happen in real life unless you've seen in or experienced it beforehand.

  • @deanmarzsri um what??
