  • @nekthps Albert Einstein would still be considered brilliant. Can the average person derive relativity? Yes, the historical Albert Einstein's conception of physics lags behind the current understanding, but even with only that limited knowledge he is miles ahead of most people (myself included). If his genius came from his genes, imagine what a clone unencumbered by historical Einstein's preconceptions could accomplish.

  • @nekthps no you would get someone ignorant, but not dumb. Also cloning wouldn't put his memories into the new person. The person would be ignorant b/c you would have a baby.

  • @StrangerEight So very true

  • That would be funny is someone's wants to downgrade himself lol

  • @nekthps nope. he's smarter than you. he would be ignorant. not dumb. he dont know wtf this shit is lol.

  • very interesting

  • "we are the only species who wants to change who we are".... but wouldn't altering our genetics more-so change WHAT we are ?

  • h3y good comments below;-)..also a NICE video by BBC;

    KURZWEIL actually spoke here at RIT (Rochester) last year--he's a damn smart dude re: his math-predictions-inventions & ideas about exponential growth in certain areas..

    THE big issue in coming years, re: all this stuff is this::

    We NEED fair - HONEST - discussion & education on tecnology path-growth, especially coming genetic changes-products & medical experimentation..

    I'm ALL for progress BUT not poor folks left outta loop-progress =][=

  • Ray Kurzweil is amazing.
