Steung Meanchey Dump Phnom Penh

People migrate to the city from rural communities to escape poverty only to find themselves at the dump with nowhere else to go. They end up picking through the rubbish in order to find resellable items. Adults can earn up to $1 a day.

sadly this is something so real in their country, and they're planning to evict the rubbish dump outside the capital. even so, it'll be another cycle starting again. it's not that the government isn't doing much, but there's only so much they can do with their current resources.

i've been there last year, and will be going again, because i guess even if it's only a small thing i can do, at least it's a start to something (: nice video you have there btw (:

Cambodia at the moment is a very corrupt and disrupt, torn apart country at the moment. They will do anything for money, example: become Thai servants.

So instead of the cambodians moaning about Thailand they should think about their own.

Extremly war torn and poor there.People do what the ycan to survive.There corrupt goverment could care less about the poor.Which is most Cambodians.
