Dis is da highlight of da nite entertainment in de one and only Royal Hotel in Bangkok. All these "artists" perform also solo, and you can decorate them with bht bills if you feel like that. Before it's time to say good night, they all perform a "medley".
For die hard thai fans only!

  • the weirdest peformance i've ever seen,

love the royal though, best hotel in BKK - 4 those in the know

  • @notref I am not in the know. What should I know? I was thinking of staying there.

  • @RichardIIfan its located directly at "sanam luang" in walking distance to chao praya river and the grand Palace. single room 1360thb breakfast included. can't book it online. ask for the old wing. send greetings from "chang noi" - this hotel is part of the history of thailand. it's my bkk-crib for 20 years. 7/24 room service. check google for telephone number. but usually there not fully booked. kao san road in walking distance too. wish i were there. :)

  • @notref I still think I am missing something lol. Is the Royal a place where there are girls or something like that? Is the show girls covering with baht notes code for something? Anyway you have persuaded me Thanks.

  • @RichardIIfan not soi coboy or nana, but something is going everywhere. it's bangkok, right. up to you and mai pen rai - service not friendly? bull! it's ridicules to read from rude farangs about unfriendly thais. kao san around the corner. lots of freelancers around, in case you are in need. soi cowboy, nana, patpong are for first timers. poor guys.. just check it out... or not.

  • @ notref: Well I really enjoyed the Royal. I loved the faded grandeur and the service was very good. Breakfast was excellent and i ate the Thai food. It is well positioned for the old city and though I didn't like Khao San Road, Rambuttri Road was interesting. I got put in the new wing, though I had asked for the old wing but no matter. I saw the singers and spoke to one or two and enjoyed the Thainess of it. So all in all very good an friendly.

  • @notref If you have been there recently do the same performers still work there? I am so looking forward to going. Thanks again for your help.. I won't keep pestering you lol

  • @notref Thanks again. I booked the Royal all 5 nights I shall be in Bkk. Can't wait! I aksespoke a little Tai to the receptionist and got a room. She was going to put me in the new wing.. I asked for old wing, They are not full. See you there!!!!!!!!!!! Best wishes and thanks

  • @notref Also I have found wherever in the world give respect and you get it back. Also learning a bit of Thai helps too. I love Thai attitude - sanuk, smiles and as yoy say mai pen rai.

  • @notref Thank you. I am getting so ecited about going back there. I know Nana but not Soi Cowboy. Patpong I thought horrible. I wondered aboutmoving hotel to be nearer there. I also found online the Artists Soi off Sukhumvit which I want to go to as well as Thermae Coffeee house. Is the Royal too far from these to make getting across to them difficult by tuktuk in the evening? If it isn't I shall stay all 5 nights there.

Thank you for being so helpful. A

  • This show is almost surreal. I bet those who see it love it.

  • @notref Thank you for replying. I gather you love the country too. I try to learn and speak Thai too. It's much more than just what most westerners go there for and I doubt if most would last there.... Anything else I should know of the Royal? What of some comments that it is unfriendly and/or needs refurbishment? I get in to Bkk at 6.40 pm so I need a bed for at least the first night. Thanks again for your quick reply.

  • @notref Cheers thanks kawb kun mag krap. I am stayikng for 5 nights in Bkk in a fortnight. I looked it up and can book online through agencies. I read old wing noisier but more character. I saw it's where they had anti-govt demos. I shall ring them. I was thinking of staying one or two nights there and moving to Koraburi near soi cowboy and nana. Plan B since I was last there in 2005 is to live there. Nothing for me here and freezing in wind and rain against wearing summer wear hmmm! lol
