  • probably one of the most helpful videos i've ever seen! this couple's instruction in all their tutorials makes it easy to learn the basic jive foot work. Everyone should watch this pre VLV and rave!

  • @zenraver Every single jive tutorial has people saying "Thats not jive!". If you are such an expert on what IS jive, please feel free to post your tutorial, your references, and explain your response. Thanks.

  • i'm no pro and i thnk they are related, but it looks like east coast swing

  • @sportmuaythai CORRECTION! on the last sentence of first post. It should read " man's left hand and girl's right hand are hooked.

  • After the Right to Left Change of Place", the girl's hand will be on top. This is when the man's right hand is placed on top of her hand and do the Behind the Back" "Changing Places". After completion, the man's hand will be on top again. Pls note the male instructor on "Behind the Back" "Changing Places" some time moved his hand grasp on the girl's. With my moves, the man's grasp is secure. I don't know if my explanation is clear. Love your vid lessons. I commented on first vid.

  • OK, I'm not contradicting, just adding what I was taught 45 years ago. The "Behind the Back" "Changing Places"was combined with "Right to Left Change of Place with Partner". This makes it easy to remember what to do next, and the girl doesn't get dizzy from being turned continuously. There is a break for the girl with "Behind the Back" "Changing Places". Now, the hand position I (we?) used is different. Both man's right hand and girl's left hand are hooked together. Read on.

  • thanks.. this video really help me :) cause i need in fast time learn JIVE ?)

  • I agree. This is the most simplistic instruction I have ever seen. They make it look easy.
