It was to help you understand Rev Wright's comment about 9/11, but I guess you would never want to look at yourself or your country with any scrutiny. Well, you see it like that bc it's easy to see it like that. Now don't flip out, but I can understand what he says, and this is how I'll translate... that Americans are so surprised to be attacked like that on our own soil, with civillians dying. He points out that this happens all around the world, many times caused by us, either directly or indirectly.
