Revenge of the Shinobi Endings for Sega Genesis/ Mega Drive

Actually I was playing Golden Axe I and II and had a bad day with them, and as an afterthought I came up with this as a temporary diversion.

This bland but pretty fun ninja game had garnered its fare share of gaming fans in the early 90s and to remember it, I present you all with the good and bad endings that unfold depending on Joe Musashi's attempt at destroying Neo Zeed, avenging his assassinated teacher and heavily-injured fellows and rescuing the entrapped Naoko as the ceiling comes down slowly upon her... talk about some serious multi-tasking.

BTW, the sad ending would have looked A LOT better if they had drawn the girl's picture better than they did. Her face looks too much like an old woman's.

I always felt like the biggest scumbag when I got the bad ending. I did all that to not even rescue the girl!?

I think she is supposed to be a ghost... Which would have worked if she was shown at all beforehand. But the scene still works for me.

In that scenario the revived Zeed won in his own way. Joe most likely even commited seppuku after that! (So I don't think that's the "canon" ending.)
