@willemdawillem You seem to lack an understanding of Japanese culture. It is extremely rude for a male to touch a female without her express permission and you can be jailed for simply being accused of it. Just because you're a train car carrying 8 times more people than it should does not mean men are suddenly exempt from that rule. It's not about what the world is coming to, thats how it's been, and the female train cars let men ride the train without fear of breaking customs..

and that makes it acceptable? how about men who want a nice comfortable seat? ffs, where is this world coming to? next you know it men need to bow when women enter a train because the women are "uncomfortable" when men look at them.
