NOTES ON HOW TO EXECUTE THIS PIECE (well, my way, if you prefer) BELOW
I don't know why I am kind of addicted to the two-piano-transcription thing. I heard this from MysteryGuitarMan (well, not the first time -- probably 600th time) and thought that I make something out of it.
Remarks:
-Original key of the Overture: C, originally for orchestra. I made mine in E.
-Omitted several parts of the original.
-Sheet music is still written in paper. I edited some while sequencing the midi.
-There still are no dynamics both in the draft and in the midi.
-Unless indicated, it is to be played staccato (detached) or even staccatissimo (super mega detached)
-Pedal Marking is dependent on the player
-Tempo is at Allegro Vivace (quarter note = 152) but I sequenced it at (quarter note = ca. 154 - 160)
MIDI File available. PM me your e-mail address and I'd be glad to send it to you.

NOTES:
After 0:16 : The Green parts (E and B) are to be accented. The chords (Blue and Orange) E major and B Major are to played as staccato as possible and are to be played softly, not overpowering the melody (upper orange voice)
At 0:23 the Yellow part octaves are to be played with authority but in piano, and the green and blue parts are to be played with subtlety.
At 0:28 the E major arpeggio (ending in b2 and a chord on the accompaniment B major) should be played an octave higher.
At 0:30 (and the like) Green descent from C# to AA should be accented, as another motive.
At 0:41 (The kind of reverse Alberti accompaniment) is to be played leggiero and piano.
0:44 E major scale (starting from the V) is to be played alongside the melody (quasi contrapuntal with the melody as the first voice, the fluttering yellow figures as the second, and the rising E scale from V as the third.)
0:54 Take note of the syncopated rhythm
1:00 The Green and Yellow Parts are to be played with pedal, while the other two are to played staccato. And vice versa at 1:07
1:18 the ascending double passages (orange and blue), four notes to a phrase, and all 16 notes to a line. The last notes of each phrase are staccato. (Same with the yellow and green parts at 1:21)
1:27 Both players MUST play without dampers, except for the passing C (1:28), E 3rd inv (1:29), C# (1:32), and C 2nd inv (1:33)
the E (1:34) and B7 (1:35) chords are to be played without dampers.
1:43 (mistake at the sequencing) that should be an E instead of c# chord.
Who made this version of that overture?
