According to MSNBCs David Shuster on Friday, South Carolina Congressman Joe Wilson shouting you lie to President Obama was racism on display: The fact that Joe Wilson is from South Carolina...it strikes a lot of people as awfully close to the idea that maybe there was some sort of racist or bigoted element there.

@demmmmm1 Democrats won't go after Rangel until after the elections, proving that Pelosi is pro-Corruption. Last I checked, Ensign and Coburn weren't responsible for our nation's tax laws. Ensign and Coburn aren't tax cheats with four rent-controlled apartments, $75,000 in delinquent back taxes, and millions in secret accounts. And Ensign and Coburn aren't black supremacists who play the race card like Rangel and company.

@demmmmm1 The war-criminal excuse? Starting a war does not make them war criminals. You anti Bush people are crazy and you call us racist if we put down Obama we can say you're racist for putting down Rice. Rangel is still serving even after he refused to pay taxes. If Obama's continuing the war does that mean that Obama, Biden, Clinton, are all war criminals too, that would make sense. I don't have a clip to that phone call, but please it was planned so they could make Walker sound terrible.

@puttputtking And Scooter Libby didn’t spend a day in jail. Nor did Halliburton on the human trafficking thing - just paid a fine. John Ensign is still serving in Congress, after his misuse of public funds and the whole hush-money thing, negotiated by “Deacon” Coburn (R).

And GW, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice, etc. are war criminals and will never spend a day in jail or even testify under oath.

Think about what Walker said in that phone call. Tell me there shouldn’t be an investigation.

@demmmmm1 No, Scott Walker is not toast. There is a poll that says 48% of the nation backs him while only 38% back Unions. You guys wish he was toast, because you don't agree with him. He's fine. People that have more unfavorable people than favorable people are your leaders Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. They are toast! Before the election Obama was so partisan, the left-wing has been so sprinted to the left and they have already fallen off the edge, which caused them to lose the election.

@puttputtking That’s why I’m always amused when conservatives say the political center hasn’t shifted to the right. What Bob Dole proposed just 15 years ago the right-wing calls ‘socialism’ today. There used to be bi-partisan issues - things that were a given, like infrastructure funding. Not anymore. The right-wing has sprinted to the right and some of them are now falling off the edge, like Scott Walker in WI. He’s toast.

@demmmmm1 Well the only thing I know about Bob Dole is that he was like McCain a war hero, but of course that was all I know I didn't pay attention to the news pretty much because I was young and still in school during the 1996 election.
