100uF 5Kv Can Crusher

I am back at it again, this time with the biggest capacitor yet! When I shot this video I destroyed the diodes and the high voltage transformer. Put a resistor between the diode and the capacitor to save the diodes from being destroyed.

The power transformer, its made with an iron core with copper wire around it. It provides 2000 volts AC.

@bobdavis321 It repels a changing magnetic field. If the field were static, aluminum would not repel it.  You'd need a superconductor for such a feat.

Nice! I noticed you didn't seem to turn the HV off before retrieving the can... so maybe it was a good thing your transformer burned out :)
