Can this stove burn coal like older dutchwest stoves? Does it have a shaker grate?

Just looked at the Dutch West 2478 on the fence with it... Catalitic verses non-catalitic?

The catalytic Dutch West wood stove will give you a longer burn time and more efficient use of the wood. They also have a different look than the non catalytic, a bit more rustic with a deep arch window.
The non-catayltic unit has a secondary burn chamber. in this stove there is no damper to close and no cat. instead the smoke flows up into a secondary chamber where are is interjected and the smoke re-burns to create high efficiencies. with a wider front door and a deeper black color
