  • For those who asked, the vessel shown in this footage is the M/V John R. Ingram.

  • @cnrail16 The tow boats themselves are around 200 ft long and the tow on the Lower Mississippi can be 35-40 barges in a configuration of 7 long x 5 wide or 8 long x 5 wide, and each barge is roughly 200 ft long by 35 ft wide, so you are looking at 1400 ft to 1600 ft long

  • looks like the john donnelly

  • That looks like the Craig Phillips or the john Ingram....I ride the Charlie C out of reserve la.

  • Does anyone know which Ingram boat this is?

  • up to 7 barges long (1400 feet) not counting the boat

  • @APIcine I mean't how LONG, in forms of length, can these barge ships get at service?
