A survival podcast review quick review of a new light I found at Tractor Supply. The light is aluminum and water tight. Not a top end light but very bright and compact and at 3 dollars a piece you can keep a bunch of them around as back up light sources for emergency planning and other needs.

  • I have one of these & have changed the batteries & it isnt working. Just to confirm I have the batteries in right, do all the positive's go on the end marked with a +? Also which way does the battery pack go in - arrow towards the LED's?

  • those are good little flashlights, but i like how you say they are kinda waterproof hehe when i somewhat sank my truck in the lake they didn't seal lol, they are bright as hell and work awesome !! one of those little shaker flashlights are great to have run on a capisitor an 1 led.. but still awesome vids keep them coming !!!

  • CVS pharmacy carries a 21 LED version of this light. I keep several scattered around my house and pack(s). Not the top quality machining like you would find on more expensive lights but for $9 its pretty hard to beat!

  • we have a few around & gave our company one when they left our plce in the middle of the night. We live off grid & they are very handy...thanks Jack!

  • For Canadians you can buy them at the Dollarama for two dollars, batteries included. The light tends to ficker slightly but for the price you can't complain.

  • Thanks Jack

  • Harbor Freight stores are another source. They routinely have a coupon to get one for free with another purchase.

  • They are a great compact flashlight. My dad gets them all the time. The only bad thing about them is the spring where it touches the battery compartment. If your light does not go on or if it won't turn off, check your spring. I think you can get them at the Dollar Tree too, but that was awhile ago since i saw them there. I normally get them at the flee market for a buck.

  • Home Depot has the same thing with the HUSKY name on it. I have a few great for a night stand or glove compartment.

    Daily listener, thanks Jack.
