Guys, Sbisa was about one year old when he came into Switzerland, and learned skating and playing Icehockey in the Zug area... He is as much Italian as a Swiss army knife, 'coz Switzerland has not any iron ore production to speak of. He played for the Zug Icehockey team, before moving to Lethbridge to increase his chances to get drafted by an NHL team. Long story cut short, he grew up in Switzerland, got a Swiss passport and plays for the Swiss National team fullstop
