In this chapter 2, expounded:
1. Ju Nyoze (ten suchnesses, chinese: 十如是). This ten suchnesses are part of Ichinen Sanzen (three thousand realms in a single moment of life, chinese: 一念三千)
2. Sariputra asked for 3 times for Buddha Sakyamuni to expound the meaning of expedient Means and Buddha Sakyamuni eventually granted his wish, but five thousand proud monks, nuns and lay devotees of both sexes in the congregatino rose from their seats and, after saluting with their heads the Lord's feet, went to leave the assembly.
3. Buddha Sakyamuni expounded that this lotus sutra is rare blossom of udumbara flower (優曇缽華, The udumbara tree; supposed to produce fruit without flowers; once in 3,000 years it is said to flower, hence is a symbol of the rare appearance of a Buddha).
4. Buddha Sakyamuni expounded the real intention appeared in this world is for Ekayana (One Buddha Vehicle). There is no others vehicle instead of one vehicle (Ekayana). The others two vehicle are Dwiyana (Sravaka/Arahat, and Pratekya Buddha Vehicle) and Triyana (Bodhisattva, Sravaka/Arahat, and Pratekya Buddha Vehicle).
5. Buddha appeared on Evil Time of Five Turbidities (五濁惡世). The Five Turbidities are (1) the Kalpa Turbidity 劫濁 (2) Earthly Desires Turbidity 煩惱濁 (3) the Living Beings Turbidity 眾生濁 (4) the View Turbidity 見濁 (5) the Life Turbidity 命濁.
