excellent vocal and wonderful backing and that guitar reminds me of someone else? Just love the video with all the right points being made...the astronaut on the moon was transparent due to the LEM Cam not focusing in full...
Well done my man and thanks

great song, and I love your info about Government cover ups, keep spreading enlightenment

Johnny, Great Track & Vid!! Brilliant!! Your vocals remind of Jeff Buckley (a favorite of mine).

We are our own worst critic. Sure it could be different/better but that is for the live shows. I hate my own voice but everyone everyone says "turn it up". Everyone's voice is awesome so I say crank it and damn the torpedos.

I sure love this one! That moon is something special with or without water :)

Well I just think it is talent and smart mixing here . Don't know much about how to mix but do know what I like to hear and your sound was a good one . Audiotrax2000 sounds like he gives good advice hope all your comments are as good and they help you make a choice as to what you want your sound to be .All the best .
WHO IN THE HELL DISLIKED MY VIDEO?
Tony Hayward?

love the way that santana-ish geetah penetrates @1.45 &3.37, yeah there is lot going on in there , bit of tinkering as audiotrax 2000 correctly points out but neverthe less a cracking little tune, fanks for the invite.

Thanks zimmy! I was hoping someone would notice and comment on the Santana-ish lead. Alas... Someone with good ears and a knowledge of lead guitar styles (Not to compare myself with the great Carlos however) ! I sure appreciate your comment. BTW. They discovered Water on the moon today. Really!

It's very good! Can I offer a bit of advice? The vocals need to rise above the rest of the mix. From the start to finnish, there's too many busy things going on in here, all at the same level, with too much highly compressed treble on everything. It's hard to tell what to focus on. Please don't take this as a criticism - you have tons of talent. Maybe try to make your arrangements build up, and cut back again. Just a fresh opinion. :)

@audiotrax2000
Thanks for the advice. I totally agree with you. Especially for the acoustic guitar. Yes over compressed and too much of the wrong EQ on it. Damn it I can hear it too but when I tried to fudge with it it was too difficult to get a good sound since I ran the instrument through a compressor to get a hot signal (unfortunately too hot in the wrong places & I think I ran it though a dynamic filter). It definitely needs a re-mix but short of rerecording that part. I am at a loss here.

@johnnykita Here's something that I found helps me: (but, what do I know ;) )I keep my ipod plugged into the same mixer I'm recording through, with some favorite music - to refresh my ears while I'm recording, and help prevent "painting myself into a corner" EQ wise. I noticed most hits have only 3 MAJOR things going at once to grab your ears attention. Example: Kick, Bass Gtr, Vocal. Everything else supports from the background. Try to build a foundation first, then add all the extras. :)

@audiotrax2000
That is a brilliant idea! Keeping a sound baseline... Makes total sense. I'll try that for sure. Thank you.
