How amazing! I saved this connection to read when I had time to enjoy it and that was this morning as the President announced to the world the passing of the historic Senate vote to reform Health Care in our country.

Hi Aurora. Your words are so powerful, written from the depths of heartache, outrage, a wanting to be healed, to simply BE HEARD. I am happy that you have received the assistance you need. But you are so right: why should poor black single women (indeed why should ANYONE IN NEED) have to suffer so deeply and be refused the help they need. Our government should indeed hang their head in shame.
