  • Hello Aurora, Vincent reminded you to me, I listened to you and say AMEN!!! I will keep you in my prayers. Healthcare costs are keep my hubby and me broke and bankrupt.

  • How amazing! I saved this connection to read when I had time to enjoy it and that was this morning as the President announced to the world the passing of the historic Senate vote to reform Health Care in our country.

  • Aurora,

What a powerful poem. It is shameful that you had to suffer so. I look forward to hearing and reading more of your work. God bless you.

    Sandi U.

  • Aurora, it is no coincidence that your name means "dawn" :

    "However long the night,

the dawn WILL break!" You move us with your grace, honesty, and your spiritual fortitude!

KEEP YOUR HAND ON THE PLOW,

    HOLD ON!

  • Aurora, I have known you for more than thirty years and have watched you grow into a incredible woman. But never have I been more proud of you then now. Your a great poet, but even an greater human being. Peace and blessings! bp

  • Hi Aurora. Your words are so powerful, written from the depths of heartache, outrage, a wanting to be healed, to simply BE HEARD. I am happy that you have received the assistance you need. But you are so right: why should poor black single women (indeed why should ANYONE IN NEED) have to suffer so deeply and be refused the help they need. Our government should indeed hang their head in shame.

  • Thanks Shani.

    Peace

    Aurora
