The democrats could win a lot more elections if they compromised on abortion. Yeah I know they're mostly pro-choice, but just budging on the one issue would give them a lot more power to carry out everything else in their agenda, especially health care, education and everything important to the working-class Americans. Pro-life democrats would have trouble winning primaries but would be almost unbeatable in a general election.
