  • I would love nothing more, than to offer a CD to the public. Unfortunately, it is too big of a financial expense for just myself. I am looking for investors, if anyone is interested please contact me.

  • THIS is enrico caruso

    a tenor with everything

this reconstructed voice IS caruso & shows quite clearly apart from beauty, clarity, diction & interpretation the immense power. thankyou so much lincolncar1

  • Thanks so much for your kind words, they mean so much to me.

  • The key is to ask any tenor who ever lived who was the greatest. We all proclaim Caruso. After that, the discussion to move on to other things.

  • smemr: I think that Stefan Zucker is a technically fixated, operatic fruitcake. A self proclaimed authority on opera who never understood that opera and singing is all about communicating human emotions and not high C's. A person that would discard Beethoven as an idiot because his structure/harmonics didn't agree with the mathematics of Mozart...

Maybe I'm overdoing this somewhat, but I don't agree with him :-)

    Best Tom

  • @Lovelytenor1 I agree with you: nobody has been so great. Never.

  • it is with deep sadness.

dante passed away at the age of 55. on 10/19/11

his love for music was amazing.

    rest in peace my brother

  • Seriously.... how do actually you reconstruct something done 100 years ago?

  • Great job! i just feel the instruments are too loud compare to the voice on the recording.. but still a great job reconstructing

  • This is a fantastic performance and incredible recording of Caruso. His wife has been quoted as saying that Bjorling 's voice and singing came the closest to her husband's. Also there are several very famous tenors who have stated they believe Bjorling is the greater singer, yes even published these sentiments. However, I think it is really unfair to compare tenors of different time periods, especially Caruso's time period, and state who is the better singer. A tenor also.

  • @lincolncar1 While I have not seen what Zucker has had to say since these re-recordings have come out, I would give him the opportunity to first see what he would have to say; he's done so much for opera.

Zucker's favorite tenor, to my knowledge, is Franco Corelli whom he interviewed on his old radio show; while Corelli's English wasn't the best, he was still a very articulate man whose observations, not just about opera but about MUSIC are something to admire.

  • Worst title ever.. RECONSTRUCTED.. i dont want to hear that :(

  • Impressive! Like taking a Time Machine! Well done....

  • I loved Caruso's voice as a child. This reconstruction is goddamned beautiful and breaks my heart.

  • Il più grande di tutti i tempi.
