One GREAT live band; seemed to be underated by the masses. I used to listen to their first album on the weekends when I was getting ready to hit the road when I was a kid...ha! I'm glad there are decent live recordings on here; makes me feel young again. Luv it!!!

yes, berettadreams, you're probably right,I just knew that Robbie wasn't some random pro musician guy,and that he had a connection with JHS at .but you,as it seems, have a better insight 'bout this.I just also wonder why do they(Chrissie and Martin)change the rest of the lineuop so much? What's with that?Maybe you know?
All the best to you,
Martin(greetings from Croatia....suprised?Well,i kick ass in English,'cause I've lived in Portland,OR for4 a while)

Not sure, It's not Martin's choice at all though. At one point even he was fired and then brought back. Chrissie has an ear and all I can say is that she's usually right. Contrary to belief she didn't fire Robbie, he quit saying it wasn't fun anymore, probably because of her attitude and the declining of the band's sound. They're still friends though, he even recorded on Last of the Independents with Adam Seymour for one song and recently she and Robbie sat down to name an unnamed instrumental.

That's Robbie Macintosh on the solo guitar,he was allegedly chosen by the great late James H.Scott as a second guitarist a time when they wanted Chrissie to perform only as a singer.

No, they never wanted Chrissie to stop playing guitar.

JHS was fond of Macintosh and wanted to bring him into the band in some way. As...'primal' as her guitars skills may be everyone in the band knew it was important for her to play, she adds something when she plays, even if it's the sloppy mess she offers sometimes.
