I've always been a great fan of the Stargate franchise. And Stargate Atlantis only made it grow better. I was saddened to hear that SGA was coming to an end. I'll greatly miss the team. Joe Flanigan is a very talented, and handsome, actor. Hopefully we'll be able to see him again!

having said that a lot of the atlantis viewers are also sg1 viewers therefor if you think about it they brought in a character like sam carter that is deeply admired by fans, AT is very talented actor and has done a great job with that character so really yes Dr Weir is great character and fan have invested but Sam Carter is a character that a lot more people have invested over 10 years

You don't like Ben Browder? I thought he brought a fresh breath of life to SG1. I mean RDA seemed to get tired of doing it (can't blame him after years of other work like McGyver as well as years on SG). I love RDA but I also love BB. Maybe that's just me.

I am still saddened by the lose of Tori H. from SG-A. I think SG-1 had to end because the loss of RDA left too large a hole for anyone to fill. I am glad that he mentions the fact that he misses Tori.

Bringing in names from other Sci-fi to try to up ratings is like trying to use a crutch to hold up a legless horse. Does not work. Someone needs to kick the writers/directors in the rump to get better scripts :)
