According to the back-end area for this video though, I'm still getting on average 40 views a day; so I'll be posting manual updates here from time to time (based on 40 views per day--as you can see above. 12/30/2011 is 50 days = 2000 plus views).
While I'm happy that I came up with this adequate, fiscally friendlier, alternative, recently I picked up a box of Breathe Right strips and I have to say, that company never fails to amaze me. Sure it's an expensive product--and I am going to continue making my own for economic reasons--but if I could afford it, I'd only ever use Breathe Right strips.
I don't know how they did it, but they have managed to create a product that not only adheres faithfully to the nose, it does so without leaving much, if any, of a sticky film on my nose. At the same time, it manages to maximize the openness of my nostrils, so that I am able to breathe better than with any other product that I've been able to find on the market, or make. And yet I'm able to peel it off easily in the morning, like a prayer. I wake up far more refreshed with their product than with any other.
I love the slickness of their design, too. Kudos to them! I will go so far as to say that because of them, I recently recovered more quickly from the flu. Good, healthful sleep is just that important to any type of health-related recovery process.
What can I say, Breathe Right; I can't live with or without you.
Nice! Always wanted to try and make my own. I mostly use clear passage but the price went up and you get 30 now instead of 40. I cut a piece of plastic from a margarine tub and a cheapo bandaid. Works like a champ! Better than breath right or clear passage. Feel like I shot some nasal spray up the schnoz! lol

@downvan77 LOL! I like the comparison to the nasal spray. Great idea, using plastic from a margarine tub. Isn't it wonderful when the nose feels open like a wind-tunnel!

your video prompted me to do some of my own creating... I had a used "extra" breath right strip, I carefully removed the 3 plastic strips then attached those to some 1" clear gauze tape, works better than the original as I spread them out a little more, I will be wearing one every night now as 2 rolls of 1" tape cost $5.56 and the breath right plastic strips are reusable in this manner, breath right strips work OK for me as I don't wake up with that hangover headache feeling when I sleep with em

@nineball26 "That hangover headache" is exactly what I get sometimes. Great way to put it!
