The Texas Mile record holder for a Corvette at 224mph!

This Corvette was built by Hinson Motorsports - over 1400rwhp
I don't have the 224mph pass on video but I caught the 221mph pass.
It looks like one of the tires went out and caused the car to veer hard to the right. The driver was ok, he walked away from the crash.

  • no in car shots of the wreck? glad he walked away

  • @Bret3030 Sorry, for some reason the in-car camera stopped working when the car was at the starting line. I'm sure that would have been an interesting video.

  • @mrbubetube Trust me, if I had it I would post it because I'm sure it would be some very cool looking video.

  • Come on guys don't fight both have valid points. The reason he crashed was cause of the chute. One inch to much of movement at those speeds... You saw what happened

  • @mrbubetube Wouldn't you be too if you were in that car.

  • @niceboy60 Your talking about a car that is capable of wheel spin at 100mph+ do you know how ridiculous that is i would like to see you keep that car in a straight line.

  • @dafamlay the dumbest think ever is making a car with 1400hp and not bothering to add a stupid spoiler to create down force

  • @niceboy60 This is You Tube's dumbest comment.

  • i wonder what the record is for the fastest crash....

  • Tire

  • @niceboy60 Only American cars huh. What's the Veyron built for fag? And I'd really love to see you drive a 1400 horsepower car well over 200 miles an hour.

  • Why such a simple Think as Going in a straight road becomes a massive Challenge and in most times ends up in A massive car crash when Talking about American Cars ?

    .

Most people Say : is Driver error or lack of Skill

    .

Only with American Cars people need Skill to Go Straight

    .

Since when Skilled is required to go in a open

  • no downforce
