But a distorded slinky has a kind of energy stored and when freefalling it convertes it to "push signals".

If i had a SOLID tube 1 lightyear long that doesn't need to send "push signals" because it is solid (think of the most solid material in the universe) and all the energy required to push that tube, wouldn't the button at the other end of the tube be pushed instantly?

No, nothing's solid. That tube would be made of atoms, obviously, and the atoms in the material would still experience the shock wave since atoms are spaced (VERY FUCKING FAR) apart. Solid is an illusion, empty space consumes most of the volume of the universe.

A long time ago i wondered whether it was possible to make a giant mirror, put it in space (I mean a humongous distance away from here) and then build a sort of telescope to look at it. I know it's a theoretical question but would we able to look into history that way? Light is travelling, fast but with a speed, so if we take a glance at the mirror, the light that reflects in the mirror could be taking so much time that what we see is already past? This thought stole my sleep for weeks...

No. Theoretically, you shouldn't even be able to see the light. The speed of light is the speed of light, it won't be faster if you go faster. The light will stay in the filament of the bulb (it will actually go at the speed of light, but so are you so it evens out to 0). This is all theoretical, though, because you can't actually drive a car at the speed of light.

If you were in a vehicle travelling at the speed of light and you shone a flashlight out the front?

Would the light from the torch travel twice the speed of light to an observer stood still?

Vsauce is an evil genius; he lures us in with interesting titles and then fills our minds with so much more than just the answer to the original question.
