just a test with my new nikon D5000. sorry if theres some movement in the camera, i got a handicap for a little while. the lens got great quality, though ull see when zooming it kinda sticks just a tad if u stop for a second. i could make it smoother wen i get fixed. im just a beginner, but this is a perfect camera for me. if u got any good advice feel free to fill me in, but dont be a prick, like i said im new to photography. i just got me a remote and ordered a tripod and bigger bag that should be here soon.

  • this is lovely(: i havethe same camera, i'm def gonna purchase this lens once i save up enough.! where did you order the tripod from?.

  • @SoniaX24 ya got the 35mm 1.8, great lens for 200$ great for low light. i got a cheap tripod from amazon.com as a kit, came with a lowepro fast pack 100, cheap 52" tripod, and a cleaning kit all for 67$. not bad at all considering some camera bags cost 70$ jsut by themselves. i got a video of the bag in my videos

  • nice video!

by the way, what is the name of the song? i really like it.

  • @fishfishh honestly i dont remember the songs name, it was on the fly cuz ive never made a video before, i had another song i put myself, but youtube said i couldnt have it. im not sure if theres a way to see what song i chose either

  • there was a pkg deal to get the camera, 18-55, 55-200, and the bag. but i was just starting out so i just got the basic pkg with 18-55mm. but once i seen wat pics i could take, i had to get the 55-200mm vr cuz there was alot of other opportunities to get a bird or nice scene with an object in it but was a little too far. also like nice upclose pics and vids of my kids faces while playing so i dont have to b right in there face for close ups

  • That's great stuff, Please keep it up.... I am looking at buying the Nikon D5000 myself as I am about to go on Holiday..... I really wanted the Nikon D90 but the Price was ££££££ too much for me at the moment... So I guess, I settle the next best thing which is the Nikon D5000 to photography.....

By the way, what lens did you use to shoot the video, it is very good quality lens for starting up.... Please what other lenses do you have, I might get the same with my Camera....

  • @nicklaw8 the videos were with the 55-200mm vr. most of the stills were 18-55mm vr. those are the 2 lens i got. the b & w was blurry at the end but it was still a cute pic so i just kept it, im still learning alot, mostly by watching the other youtube how to vids to get great ideas. i plan to go to the beach and take some nice ocean scenes and vids. and i use windows movie maker to compile everythin. works great

  • Its a good video, i like how some clips start out of focus and then get clear, its a really nice touch, also its a very good way of blending one clip into the next.

You should have more experience with this camera by now anyway, what's the camera like.

I just ordered this camera today and will have it by TUE ( 4 days time ).
