ED and GAIA TOSSING together form the musical entity known as HEARTSONG whose mission, from their initial CD release WHITE LIGHT onward. has been to promote peace and unity, beauty and positive inspiration to people of all ages. They have performed at countless spiritual events with many well known inspirational speakers.

A multiple Emmy-award winner, GAIA has produced and released four videos (3 of them TV specials) for children incorporating all original music with sign language. GAIA signs every song she performs in her repertoire, as she does here with " When You Give Your Smile".




A composer and lyricist, ED was compelled to write this song after being so moved by the work of The Smile Train organization, a group of physicians who provide cleft-palate surgeries for needy children around the world. An arranger with credits on several albums by Styx and one by Dennis DeYoung, and also keyboard credits with Barbra Streisand, David Pomeranz,the Ides of March, the Manhattans,,Gene Chandler, the late Jackie Wilson and many others, ED is also a two time Emmy winner and a recipient of HBO's Song of the Year Award for his composition,"Wake Up and Dream" with lyricist Thom Bishop. Ed's song "Meeting of the Hearts' was sung in Russian by GAIA as the theme for the First Soviet-American Citizen's Conference.
