@kathie823 Looking it up, she turned 18 like a month before RKK left the show. Since I'm sure it began when he was on the show, I think the odds are it started when she was 17. I know they got married, but at the time it seemed to be part of the reasoning. It seemed to just be a confluence of things - Issues RKK had behind the scenes, the RKK/Miriam Parrish weirdness, and the fact that Peter Reckell was now available.

@SlyFoxDeveraux I recall at the time hearing that Kristian requested Peter come back because they were such good friends and she wanted to work with him again.

Miriam Parrish (Jamie) was not underage...she was 18 when she started dating RKK. And they didn't "hookup", they got married!

@entertainme3000 Peter was never fired, he quit both times. Robert was the only one fired, and the consensus is that it was because of all of his backstage drama. Apparently there were major conflicts between him and both Crystal Chappell and Kristian Alfonso. Plus he ended up hooking up with the underage actress who played Jamie.
