The J. Edgar Hoover Building Headquarters of the FBI and the X-Files
The FBI Headquarters was constructed in the early 1970s. The building contains just under three million square feet of office space for 7000 employees.
Dedicated in September 1975 the building is a prominent landmark on Pennsylvania Avenue, its brutalist bulk rising eleven stories above ground.
The building was featured frequently in The X Files (1993-2001) and the 1999 film Arlington Road where it was partly demolished.
The Lego version of the J. Edgar Hoover Building was constructed in September 2008. Underneath is Mulders basement office where the X-Files were based. Included are Lego minifigs of Mulder and Scully.
The building is illuminated with 40 LED bulbs, thirty in the main building and ten for the office below. More pictures are available at www.flickr.com/rh1985/sets (folder: The X Files Lego).
The music is by Kevin MacLeod. His website is http://incompetech.com/
how long did this take you to build?

I love how you put Tooms in there (that is the way you spell is name, by the way) And the lightup feature is great!
This is a really cool build, if only LEGO could have gotten the X-Files license and made exactly this as a set.... There's not really any hope of that happening now.

I've been wanting to make an X-files scene with Tooms. I guess you beat me to it.
