    lol. I am just revoicing what me teacher said ... We had a whole lessons over this lol

  • @Grande1Rouge It was much, much earlier. White keys were to be covered with ivory and it was expensive. Two villages expensive. So they made the bigger keys from wood covered in black wax/oil/whatever they used, and the smaller keys withc ivory covers.

    Yes, most pipe organs privious to 1980 were made this way , overseas.

    They were first made by "accident" and it began as a trend

  • Are this organ's keys painted the reverse of standard keyboards? It seems the white keys here would be black on any other organ or piano.
