well deserved win

They friggin handed this one to the challenger. Like some kind of consolation prize. Of COURSE the guy from New Orleans is going to win with andouille. I'd be pissed if I was Batali being set up like this.

@ledheadlover Lets work it out for you. one point higher in taste and originality plus four points better in plating come out as a win. The score says it all. Besh impressed the judges better in all three categories.
-
haha wow chef besh won. close battle.

@pisces38 My sentiments exactly.

lol, he is gettin plumpier

Batali looks like Fat Bastard from Austin Powers.

Remember, Batali had basically zero time left to plate his dishes; he was working up to the wire just to get that sixteen-pan assault finished flavor-wise. Meanwhile, coming up to the end Besh already had half of his courses down, so he had a lot more time to make it *look* good too. Batali's strategy was ambitious, but the time constraints necessary to execute it allowed Besh to pull in the win.
-
because his food did look better and tastier. that easy and sample XD
-
How the hell did Besh win?

Plating? Really?
i want to taste those dishes... :-)

by making a better balance with the andouille in every dish. Plus I reallye thought that Batali's team tried too hard on the creativity. The artichokes which were peeled, fried and stuffed; that was kite too much of prep and waste of time to get all the dishes on time. But I can't critic Mario's team cause their so quick and great cooks.
