  • I use it everyday to do my homework! It's really helpful as a background sound. The redundancy helps to focus on the task and not on the music in itself.

  • @sschat: that's very true...

  • Excellent music

  • Thnx for the wonderfull music

  • TY

  • @ZacMonson well i think , "NOTHING" is needed to create the "EVERYTHING" in where we live... One can see things only because of the contrast with its counterpart

  • beauty. thank you

  • Tanpura is more than a drone. The sound of a tanpura heard LIVE is the richest dynamic sound I can think of on one instrument. What it to the tonal beauty of any performance whether vocal or instrumental has to be heard to be believed. What the vibrato does to enhance tone is achieved by the tanpura.

And you must know the mind boggling intonation and pitch alignment of those who practice with the tanpura daily, all throughout their lives. The best instrument for developing a musical ear.

  • @ZacMonson it's called drone music. google it. obviously you don't like this kind. fair enough.

  • Gaganpreetrang,

I loved it very nuch .You have done a greaaaaaaaaaaaaat job.

    Its very useful

  • @MsMsjoshi i just dont get it.... if its meant to meditate to than i can get that... but even so.... its the same 4 notes over and over and over and over. I LOVE alllll kids of music, including indian and eastern vibes but this is an hour of 4 notes

  • @ZacMonson ,

Have you ever heard about Indian classical music? This one hour has such a big potential to build a melodious palace of any Raga. For one hour, the vibrations of Sa,(Shadaj) and Pa ( Pancham) are mesmorising the music lovers. Especially manual tanpura creats the perfect effect of vibrations than digital tanpura

.It has worked as oasis to me for my Riyaz when I am away from my real tanpura. many many many thanks to Gaganpreetrang.

  • why does this even exhist?! its an hour of NOTHING

  • Thank you, this is very nice, can you post a recording of a tanpura scale G or scale F.

  • Thank you! ,editating on laksimi.

  • I hope you dont mind if i use a piece of this tanpura sound for a song im making.
