Travis Bliss tenor sax soloist playing his Conn 10M "In a Sentimental Mood" backed
by the Joan Watson- Jones combo. Taped at the Acton Jazz Cafe as part
of"The Jazz Room Live" Television Show. Our thanks to Joan Watson-Jones
for working so hard to put these amateur performers on television as
encouragement to other aspiring jazz musicians.

  • Sounds smooth. I've been playing trumpet with my son in a few places this summer, but I can't match your sweet tone. Also reading Wynton Masalis's book "Moving to Higher Ground" and thought about the Bliss jazz experience. If you can get a hold of a copy it's a must read for any jazz player, and is a great window into how he sees music. Keep playing and having fun.
