I do like a lot of his 'music' music, and I find him interesting, or else I wouldn't have watched this video

John Cage wasn't able to separate his ego from silence, otherwise he wouldn't have composed 4'33'' instead he would have been a monk or philosopher and just listened.

The only intelligence a society sees is that which it defines, and it defines intelligence as the set of specific information and skills which are useful to it.. This is "conventional" intelligence. REAL intelligence is not dependent on or even usually part of the phenomena of human society, but man can be part of it if he can free himself from societies and their conventions. That you automatically associate "college" with "educated and genius" says that you are not a free man.
